Automotive Trainee Ripon • Up to £28,100 • Full-time • Monday - Friday A brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about cars and looking to build a long-term career in the motor trade. A well-established, reputable dealership in the Ripon area is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Automotive Trainee to join their team. This is an entry level role offering exposure to all areas of the business - ideal for someone who loves cars, enjoys working with people and wants a stable career with genuine progression into sales. You don’t need previous dealership experience. What matters is your attitude, passion for cars and willingness to learn. You’ll gain hands-on experience across marketing, customer service, vehicle preparation, admin and sales support, with a clear pathway into a full sales role where there is excellent earning potential. Automotive Trainee Responsibilties: You’ll support the dealership across a wide range of tasks, including: • Assisting customers and providing a friendly, professional experience • Supporting the sales team with handovers and vehicle demonstrations • Helping with marketing activities such as photos, videos, and online listings • Assisting with valeting and vehicle preparation • Completing admin tasks to support smooth day-to-day operations • Delivering and collecting vehicles when required • Learning the full customer journey from enquiry to sale • Developing strong product knowledge across a wide range of vehicles As you grow, you’ll take on more responsibility with a clear route into sales.
