This highly respected and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Truro, is looking to recruit an experienced BureauPayroll Administrator to join its friendly and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of your own portfolio of clients whilst working for a business that genuinely invests in its people, their well-being and their long-term development. Whilst ideally the role is offered on a full-time basis, there will be some consideration for candidate’s looking for a part-time arrangement. As Payroll Administrator, your duties will include: - Managing a portfolio of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish - Processing new starters, leavers, statutory payments and pension submissions - Managing RTI submissions and auto-enrolment responsibilities - Setting up new employers on payroll systems - Acting as the main point of contact for payroll clients, providing advice and resolving day-to-day queries - Liaising with HMRC where required - Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and ensuring compliance across your client portfolio - Building strong relationships with clients whilst delivering an efficient and professional payroll service In return, you'll benefit from: - An industry-leading approach to work-life balance - A working pattern designed to give you more time outside of work - A highly competitive salary and benefits package - On-going training and clear career progression - Regular well-being initiatives, social events and additional company perks - A supportive and collaborative team culture For this role, we're looking for someone with: At least two years' payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice or bureau setting, and be confident managing multiple client payrolls independently. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll enjoy regular interaction with clients and colleagues alike. You'll also be highly organised, pro-active and committed to delivering an exceptional level of client service. Experience using multiple software packages would be advantageous, whilst qualifications would be welcomed but by no means essential.
