Senior Business Analyst - Logistics & Supply Chain TransformationLocation: Galsgow Hybrid Contract: 6 Months+ Start: ASAP The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme for a leading UK organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the decommissioning of a legacy mainframe application that supports critical logistics operations. You'll work as part of the discovery and proof-of-concept phase, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify dependencies, and help shape the future-state solution. Key Responsibilities • Lead discovery workshops with business and operational stakeholders. • Map current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes and capabilities. • Identify system dependencies, risks and impacts relating to legacy system decommissioning. • Work closely with Solution Architects and technical teams to define the target operating model. • Engage with operational teams across multiple UK depot locations. • Produce high-quality business analysis documentation and requirements. Essential Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programmes. • Strong background within Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing or Distribution. • Experience working in retail or another large operational environment. • Previous involvement in legacy system replacement, modernisation or decommissioning projects. • Excellent process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills. • Comfortable working with both business and technical teams. Working Pattern • Travel to Glasgow depot (approximately 2-3 days per week during the initial phase). • Predominantly remote after the first three months.
