Job description

Business Analyst - £550 p/d - Must be local to Yeovil & surrounding area Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Business Analyst to support a few different work-streams at discovery and latter stages. Specifically for BA who is used to working in a less structured environment. Helping to define the structure and refine it going forwards. Leveraging their experience in stakeholder management, template creation, process definition. The individual has to feel comfortable with the uncomfortable and embrace ambiguity. £550 p/d (umbrella) 6 month initial contract (with scope for extensions) Hybrid working - Likely 2/3 days a week onsite in the client's office in Yeovil. Will need to be flexible on what days in the office for workshops or other high profile meetings. Experience needed: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst • Self-starting attitude with the ability to drive the agenda and influence outcomes • Experience in conducting analysis (Discovery) on complex changes, that impact people, process and systems. • Experience working within retail/ecommerce would be desired (but not 100% a must have) • Exposure to completing business analysis on business systems, not just technology systems (e.g. target operating model changes) • Extensive process definition experience including process modelling (BPMN) as well as supporting documentation such as RACIs • Strong stakeholder management skills • Experience using process modelling tools such as Visio as well as collaboration tools such as Miro, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), Jira and Confluence Due to the role, it is very important the candidate is local-ish to the Yeovil area (1h30 max commute ideally).
