Your Company: NET Recruit are partnering with an innovative and highly successful specialist manufacturing business to assist them on their search for a Business Development Manager to cover Ireland on a national basis. Having established itself as a recognised leader within the modular cold storage market, this organisation provides industry-leading solutions to customers operating across the pharmaceutical, chemical and logistics sectors. Through a commitment to innovation, quality and exceptional customer service, the business has continued to expand its presence throughout Ireland and is now seeking an experienced sales professional to support its continued growth. Your Role and Responsibilities: While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: • Generating new business opportunities across the pharmaceutical, chemical and logistics industries throughout Ireland • Working from an established CRM system to manage a portfolio of target accounts and develop new customer relationships • Identifying prospective customers and developing strategic plans to convert opportunities into long-term business • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers across multiple industry sectors • Promoting the company's modular cold storage solutions through customer meetings, presentations and site visits • Maintaining a healthy and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are effectively managed from initial contact through to completion • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered successfully • Monitoring market developments and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities • Producing regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for senior management • Acting as a professional ambassador for the business across the Irish market What you will need to Apply: To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have previous experience within a business development or field sales position, with a proven history of winning new business and developing new customer relationships. Applicants must have experience selling into the pharmaceutical, chemical or logistics sectors and be confident engaging with senior stakeholders across these industries. Previous knowledge of modular cold storage solutions would be highly desirable; however, candidates with strong commercial experience selling technical products or solutions into these sectors will also be considered. Successful applicants will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, demonstrate a highly motivated and target-driven approach, and be comfortable managing a structured sales pipeline through CRM systems. As this is a national field-based position, candidates should be willing to travel extensively across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
