Job description

We are working with a global organisation to appoint a Compensation & Benefits Director with responsibility for designing, governing, and evolving reward frameworks across multiple international markets. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in global compensation, executive reward, benefits strategy, and governance, combined with the credibility to partner closely with executive leadership and regional HR teams. The Role Reporting into the global HR leadership, the Compensation & Benefits Director will own the end-to-end global reward agenda, ensuring alignment between business strategy, talent priorities, and market competitiveness across all territories. Key responsibilities include: • Leading the global compensation strategy, including job architecture, grading frameworks, benchmarking, and pay structures across diverse geographies • Designing and governing short- and long-term incentive plans, including executive and leadership reward frameworks • Overseeing global benefits strategy, balancing consistency with local market relevance and regulatory requirements • Acting as the global authority on reward governance, policy, and compliance, including pay equity, transparency, and regulatory alignment • Partnering with regional HR leaders to support local implementation while maintaining global standards • Managing relationships with external advisors, benchmarking providers, and benefits partners • Providing high-quality reward insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the board as required Candidate Profile This role requires a proven global C&B leader rather than a regional specialist stepping up. You are likely to bring: • Extensive experience in global Compensation & Benefits leadership within a complex, multinational environment • Demonstrated ownership of multi-country reward frameworks, ideally across EMEA, Americas, and APAC • Strong technical depth across base pay, incentives, executive compensation, and benefits • Experience operating in regulated environments with a strong understanding of governance and compliance • The confidence to influence at executive level, with a pragmatic and commercially grounded approach • A track record of balancing global consistency with local market realities Why This Role • Genuine global scope with influence across all territories • High visibility with senior leadership • Opportunity to shape and modernise reward strategy at scale
