What you’ll be doing No two days are the same, but the tasks below offer a glimpse of what to expect. If you don’t meet every point but believe you have the skills to succeed, we encourage you to apply. • Cleaning of communal spaces • Manage and monitor waste throughout development, complete statutory bin runs, making sure all bins are available for emptying • Effectively liaise with the Local Authority of Waste Management Collections as and when required • Health & Safety compliance - to include regular system testing where required • Conduct daily site inspections and report maintenance requirements and any other issues to the Property Manager • Ensure communal areas, such as bin stores, car parks, cycle stores are maintained and well kept • Fob & key management • Replacement of lightbulbs where necessary • Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable customer service to residents • Ensure all enquires and repairing issues are dealt with in line with agreed service levels • Ensure building is a safe environment in which to live and work and that it is managed in accordance with procedures • Complete meter readings as and when required • What You Need to Succeed • Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate • Experience of working in a similar role is essential (lone working experience is advantageous) Why join us? • Time to Recharge: 21 days’ holiday plus bank holidays • Full uniform provided • Health & Wellbeing: Medicash, virtual GP, therapies, dental and optical support • Future Security: Pension of up to 5% from the employee and 3% from the employer • Learning & Development: Study support and access to our dedicated academy to help you grow professionally and personally • Mental Health Support: 24/7 mental health services • Birthday Bonus: Enjoy an extra day off on your birthday to celebrate your way • Giving Back: One volunteer day annually to support a charity or cause close to your heart • Benefit Platform: One online platform for all benefits and recognition At Virtu, diversity and inclusivity are fundamental to who we are.
