Caretaker • Daily Rate: £15 - £18 (dependent on experience) • Location: Leatherhead • Job Type: Temporary (8-week booking starting in August) • Working Hours: 5 days a week We are currently seeking an experienced Caretaker to join a school in Leatherhead for an 8-week temporary booking starting in August. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience in a caretaker or similar role, who can manage the maintenance and security of school premises. Day-to-day of the role: • Conduct regular security checks throughout the school premises. • Perform maintenance tasks including minor repairs and coordinating with contractors for more significant repairs. • Ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained. • Assist with the setup of classrooms and assembly areas for various school activities. • Manage the opening and closing of the school premises daily. • Respond to emergency situations or issues as they arise. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Caretaker or in a similar role. • Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasks. • Good physical condition and strength. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
