Cleaner/Kitchen Assistant

Fantastic opportunity to work school hours from 9.30am to 2.30pm We are seeking to recruit a cleaner/ kitchen assistant to work at the award winning Laurels Care Home (small 23 bedded care home) on Norfolk Road/ Carlisle. Due to the nature of the services, we deliver, we require a candidate with good interpersonal skills and high standards of infection control and food hygiene standards. You will be responsible for sanitising all environments, communal areas and office space. The role will also involve some general health & safety duties to ensure the service is maintained to a very high standard. The post is for 20 hours per week role, 5 four-hour shifts. Working hours 9:30 am – 2:30pm with alternating weekends. Candidates will also be expected to work flexibly to cover holidays and sickness where applicable. You must be hard working, practical and be able to develop positive working relationships with people with a range of support needs.
