Your responsibilities will include: • Advising on the tax structuring of corporate transactions and reorganisations • Supporting business sales, acquisitions and investment projects • Advising on LBTT, SDLT, VAT and other transaction-related tax issues • Assisting with employee share schemes and employment tax matters • Drafting and reviewing tax-related documentation • Supporting clients across a variety of sectors and industries • Contributing to client training, seminars and legal updates About you This role would suit a Solicitor who: • Has 2+ years’ PQE in corporate, commercial, tax or transactional work • Has an interest in developing specialist tax expertise • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and analytical skills • Is comfortable managing a varied workload • Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues • Takes a commercial and practical approach to problem-solving • Enjoys building relationships and contributing to business development activities The environment You'll be joining a highly regarded Glasgow team that advises businesses, investors and property clients on a broad range of tax-related matters.
