Job description

Your new company A charity based in Radstock is looking to recruit a Credit Control Administrator to join its friendly and supportive finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and accounts receivable experience. Your new role As Credit Control Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow, building positive relationships with customers and funding partners, and ensuring income is collected efficiently to support the charity's vital services. • Managing the sales ledger and outstanding debt portfolio • Chasing overdue payments via telephone, email and written correspondence • Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate customer accounts • Reconciling debtor balances and investigating account queries • Raising invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently • Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow forecasting • Building positive relationships with customers, service users and stakeholders • Working closely with operational teams to resolve billing queries • Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls What you'll need to succeed • Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail • A confident yet empathetic approach to debt collection • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines • A proactive and collaborative approach to work What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
