We're recruiting for a Credit Controller & Debt Recovery Specialist to join a well-respected and growing business based in the Watton area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a varied role that combines credit control, debt recovery, client relationship management and business development within a supportive company that actively encourages career progression. The Role As a Credit Controller, you will: • Manage sales ledgers for multiple clients • Chase outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment collection • Allocate and reconcile payments • Manage a portfolio of debt recovery cases from initial contact through to resolution • Prepare demand letters, negotiate payment plans and carry out pre-legal debt recovery processes • Resolve account disputes through effective negotiation with clients and debtors • Complete bank reconciliations and process payments • Build strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service • Support business development activities and identify opportunities to grow the client base Credit Controller Requirements • Previous experience within credit control, debt recovery or a similar finance role • Experience managing company sales ledgers • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills • Good understanding of the debt recovery process • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach What's on Offer? • Basic salary of up to £33,000 • Bonus scheme with realistic OTE of £35,000 - £36,000 • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm working hours • Free parking • Healthcare following successful probation • Ongoing training and support • Genuine career progression opportunities within a growing business Apply Today!
