As a Children's Support Workers, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe, nurturing, and therapeutic care during some of the most critical moments in a young person's life. Our support packages are designed to meet individual needs offering wraparound, 24/7 support with staffing ratios ranging from 2:1 up to 6:1, depending on each young person's circumstances. This is a rewarding and flexible role, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real difference. What You'll Do • Create a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people in crisis. • Children's Support Workers Support with daily routines from meal preparation to maintaining a tidy home. • Encourage engagement in education, hobbies, and community activities that promote growth and confidence. • Supporting medical appointments and community activities. • Using your own vehicle to transport young people when needed. • Helping them move forward with confidence into their next chapter. Requirements What We're Looking For We welcome applicants from all backgrounds! Whether you've worked in care before or are looking to start a new, meaningful career. What matters most is your heart, resilience, and ability to connect with young people. You'll need: • A flexible approach (waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required) • A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance. • An enhancedDBS (or Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS) and full Right to Work in the UK. • Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential. You'll be: • Providing safe, trauma-informed care • Creating structure, routine, and a calm environment • Supporting education, independence, and life skills • Preparing meals and promoting healthy daily habits • Ensuring young people feel heard, respected, and valued • Attending appointments and community activities • Transporting young people using your own vehicle when required • Helping them transition positively into their next placement or future pathway What You'll Need Experience supporting children or young people (voluntary or paid) A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Emotional resilience, empathy, and patience Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and sleep-ins Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply) A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
