Job description

We’re currently recruiting for a Customer Operations Advisor to join a well-established business based in Nuneaton. This is a temp opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role combining hands-on stock control responsibilities with office-based administration. The position is split approximately 60% stores/warehouse duties and 40% administrative tasks, offering a great balance of physical and operational work within a fast-paced environment. Role Details • Location: Nuneaton (on-site) • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) • Pay Rate: £12.71 – £13.50 per hour • Contract: Temporary - 6 months Key Responsibilities • Accepting and booking in deliveries from suppliers • Organising, storing and replenishing stock within the warehouse/stores area • Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records • Supporting inventory control activities and investigating stock discrepancies • Moving stock, parts and boxes around the site safely and efficiently • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the stores area • Raising sales orders and purchase orders on internal and customer systems • Progressing orders and updating delivery dates through liaison with suppliers • Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative duties • Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders via email, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face interactions • Taking a proactive approach to resolving issues and supporting operational requirements Essential Experience & Skills • Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse or stock control environment • Strong knowledge and practical experience of stock management and inventory control • Comfortable using computer systems to complete administrative tasks and maintain records • Good organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload Desirable Traits • Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling duties, including moving boxes and stock around site • Reliable, hardworking and able to focus on completing tasks efficiently • Positive attitude with the ability to fit into an established team environment • Proactive and willing to support colleagues where needed • Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach If you're looking for an opportunity that combines warehouse, stock control and administration responsibilities, we'd love to hear from you.
