Location: Theale Salary: £13.70 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am – 5:00pm Start Date: ASAP Overview We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Customer Service / Operations Administrator to join our team based in Theale. This is a fast-paced, front-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will be the first point of contact for clients and drivers, ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries from start to finish while maintaining strict schedules and timelines. Key Responsibilities • Act as the first point of contact at reception for clients, visitors, and drivers • Manage customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships • Coordinate deliveries from start to completion • Liaise directly with drivers regarding: • Estimated arrival times (ETAs) • Delivery updates • Scheduling requirements • Book delivery bays and manage arrival schedules • Ensure all deliveries adhere to strict timelines and operational schedules • Maintain accurate records including log-in sheets and booking sheets • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, time-sensitive environment Skills & Experience Required • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and spreadsheet management • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Confident liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams • Professional and friendly manner as a front-of-house representative • Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow structured schedules Desirable Skills • Previous experience within a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment • Understanding of delivery coordination and scheduling processes Personal Attributes • Proactive and adaptable • Willingness to learn and develop • Strong team player with a hands-on approach • Calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment If you are interested, please apply online and I will screen your cv and contact you with more information if successful.
