EMEA Payroll Specialist | London | £40,000 - £47,000 per annum + bonus | Retail | An opportunity has arisen for an EMEA Payroll Specialist, to join a global retailer. This company places emphasis on people, collaboration, and development with a great list of benefits and on-site perks to showcase this. This is a hybrid role with the expectations of 4 days a week in office with the ability to use an additional remote working allowance to reduce the days in office. Details of the role: Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the payroll team, supporting with a variety of payroll duties. The team are looking for someone who is proactive where alongside their business-as-usual tasks, will help drive efficiencies in the department. Responsibilities include: • Working with your team of 3 to process the payroll data across 10 European regions in particular Italy and Benelux • Ensuring payroll checks are implemented • Ensure checks are carried out for new starters • Overseeing statutory payments and deductions • Managing payroll inbox and addressing queries • Continuously looking at ways to improve the payroll process Skills required: • 1-3 years’ EMEA payroll experience • Experience with time and attendance systems ideally from a retail setting • Experience of Workday • Softer skills required would include excellent communication skills and the ability to be proactive.
