Job description

The Engineering Planner & Administrator provides multi-functional planning of tasks, manpower and materials for routine engineering maintenance, minor projects and shutdown activities. Client Details This role is with a highly regarded organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector. As a medium-sized company, they are focused on delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining operational excellence within their engineering and manufacturing operations. Description • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules to support operational needs. • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely execution of planned tasks. • Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure adherence to schedules. • Update and manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Liaise with procurement to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials. • Analyse and report on maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. • Assist in planning and coordinating shutdowns or major maintenance projects. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all planning activities. Profile A successful Engineering Planner should have: • Proven experience in planning within the industrial or manufacturing industry. • Strong understanding of engineering and maintenance processes. • Proficiency in using CMMS and other planning tools. • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
