Teacher of English (Full Time or Part Time) Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Start Date: September 2026 Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) An ambitious and welcoming secondary school in Watford is seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Teacher of English to join its successful English department from September 2026. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Full-time and part-time applications will be considered. The Role The successful candidate will: • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Inspire a love of literature and language, helping students achieve their full potential. • Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities. • Assess, monitor and provide effective feedback to support student progress. • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the English department.
