Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Export Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing business with a strong international customer base. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth movement of goods to overseas customers, managing export documentation, coordinating shipments, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the order-to-delivery process. This position would suit an individual with experience in international logistics, export administration, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate export shipments from order receipt through to final delivery. • Prepare and manage all export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and customs paperwork. • Liaise with freight forwarders, hauliers, customs brokers and overseas customers. • Track shipments and proactively resolve any delivery issues. • Ensure compliance with import/export legislation, customs requirements and Incoterms. • Maintain accurate records within ERP and transport management systems. • Work closely with customer service, planning, warehousing and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery. • Provide customers with updates on shipment status and delivery schedules. • Support continuous improvement initiatives across export and logistics processes. About You • Previous experience in an Export Coordinator, Export Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator or similar role. • Knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures. • Understanding of Incoterms and international shipping processes. • Experience liaising with freight forwarders and logistics providers. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
