School Facilities Administrator North London Temporary (3 weeks, with potential extension) £16–£18 per hour Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for your next opportunity within a school environment? We are currently recruiting for a School Facilities Administrator to join a busy and supportive team in a North London school on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running, safety, and compliance of school facilities. The Role As a Facilities Administrator, you will support the Site/Facilities Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the school’s premises. You’ll be responsible for handling maintenance requests, liaising with contractors, and ensuring all compliance and health & safety records are accurately maintained. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support to the Facilities/Site Manager and wider team • Coordinate maintenance issues, repairs, and contractor visits • Maintain accurate records of compliance checks and servicing schedules • Ensure health and safety documentation is up to date • Raise purchase orders and process invoices • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers • Support the coordination of site use, including lettings and events • Respond to queries from staff, students, and visitors • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including safeguarding, fire safety, and COSHH About You • Previous administrative experience (school or facilities experience desirable) • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Excellent attention to detail • Knowledge of health & safety or compliance processes (desirable) Safeguarding This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
