Family Support Worker (Agency)Location: Surrey Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour Hours: Flexible - Choose Your Own Shifts About the RoleWe are looking for experienced and compassionate Family Support Workers to join our growing agency team across Surrey. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be supporting children and young people across a range of settings, including: • Children's residential homes • Unregulated placements • Contact supervision sessions • Escorting and transporting children and young people safely to and from appointments, education, family contact, and other locations You will be working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and may present with emotional and behavioural needs. Your role will be to provide consistent, positive support while promoting their safety, wellbeing, and development. What We're Looking ForWe're seeking individuals who are resilient, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Essential Requirements • Previous experience working with children and young people. • An understanding of trauma-informed practice and supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A caring, patient, and professional approach. • The legal right to work in the UK. Desirable • A full UK driving licence with business insurance (preferred but not essential). • Experience working in residential childcare, family support, or similar environments.
