Female Support Worker Full Time Opportunities £25,845 per year (pro rata) A Full UK Manual driving licence is essential to drive our service mini bus. About the role You'll be supporting five individuals with complex health needs, physical disabilities and learning disabilities in our supported living service in Gillingham, Medway. The service is conveniently located close to both Chatham and Gillingham town centres and is just a five-minute walk from Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre. The people we support enjoy active, fulfilling lives and love getting out into the local community every day. Whether it's shopping, attending activities, visiting local attractions or spending time with friends and family, you'll play an important role in helping them enjoy the life they choose. Every day is different, but you could be: • Supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities. • Encouraging independence while providing the right level of support. • Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and managing money. • Supporting people to access their local community and enjoy hobbies and interests. • Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion. • Working as part of a friendly, supportive team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
