Salary: £33,000–£37,500 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fencer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of fencing systems to a high standard while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Install a wide range of fencing, including timber, closeboard, panel, post and rail, security, chain-link, and metal fencing.
• Carry out fencing repairs and replacements as required.
• Read site plans and measurements to ensure accurate installation.
• Prepare sites by setting out, digging post holes, and installing posts using appropriate materials and equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small plant safely and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and company vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
• 3–5 years' proven experience in fencing installation.
• Experience installing a variety of domestic and commercial fencing systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to read drawings and follow specifications.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on the role).
• CSCS Card (preferred).
Desirable Skills
• Experience operating mini diggers or other small plant.
• Trailer towing licence.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Experience with gates, access control systems, or security fencing.
