Interim Financial Controller (Maternity Cover) — Fixed-Term Contract Via is supporting a well-established brand activation and retail marketing agency based in SW London with the recruitment of a Financial Controller to cover maternity leave on a fixed-term contract basis. The business works with a number of major international brands and has recently returned to independent ownership following a management buyout from its previous parent group. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, creatively-led agency at an interesting point in its ownership journey. The role: Reporting to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, managing a small finance team and ensuring continuity through the maternity leave period. Responsibilities: • Full ownership of month-end management accounts and reporting • Managing and developing a small finance team • Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management • Overseeing statutory year-end accounts and the audit process • Maintaining and strengthening financial controls • Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the agency What we're looking for: • Proven Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager experience, ideally within agency, media or professional services environments • Experience managing a small team • Comfortable stepping into an established finance function with limited handover • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred • Available for an immediate/short-notice start The details: • Salary: c.£75,000 • Location: SW London, hybrid • Contract length: Maternity cover, 9–12 months, fixed-term contract Interested?
