Job description

The Head of Compliance and Building Safety will oversee compliance and safety within the property department, ensuring all regulations and standards are met. Based in London, this role is critical to maintaining a safe and compliant environment, keeping operations running smoothly. Client Details A not-for-profit Housing organisation based in London, focused on delivering valuable services within the property sector. Description As the Head of Compliance and Building Safety, you will: • Ensure full compliance with building safety regulations and standards across all properties. • Lead on the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. • Oversee risk assessments and ensure any required actions are carried out promptly. • Manage audits and inspections to maintain safety and regulatory standards. • Provide strategic advice and updates to senior leadership on compliance and safety matters. • Coordinate training and development initiatives to promote compliance awareness. • Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external stakeholders. • Monitor and report on performance metrics related to compliance and building safety. Profile A successful Head of Compliance and Building Safety should have: • Demonstrated experience in compliance and building safety within the property sector. • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards. • Proven ability to manage audits, inspections, and risk assessments effectively. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Capability to develop and implement policies and procedures successfully. • Experience in providing strategic advice to senior leadership teams.
