Job description

Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Milton Keynes based FMCG business, who are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner, on a permanent basis. The HR Business Partner will report into the Managing Director, and their role will be broad and varied ciivering all areas of the HR remit. Key responsibilities will include: General HR administration: • Onboarding, generating and managing the completion/co-signing of contracts • Processing right to work checks • Calculating and monitoring holiday accrual and requests • Liaising with employees about particular circumstances affecting their employment such as sickness and absence, Maternity/Paternity/Parental leave, bereavement or other • Organised and confidential record keeping, including; training records, meeting notes, employee data such as medical questionnaires. Employee relations: • Advising managers on best practice when handling HR matters • Encouraging and providing the knowledge and resources for managers to uphold a proactive and constructive approach to the performance management and career progression of their teams • Handling individual employee cases with care, communicating with employees directly • Guiding employees and managers through formal processes, such as performance management, disciplinary and grievance. Ensuring detailed records are kept and circulated as necessary. • Creating processes to ensure the company operates morally and lawfully in all aspects of HR and people management • Working with the wider Senior Leadership Team to shape a positive and supportive culture for all employees Recruitment and training: • Overseeing effective recruitment across the business and providing hiring managers with the tools to carry out recruitment • Managing budgets for paid job adverts and agency support The HR Business Partner will need to possess demonstrable experience of running an effective HR service in a fast paced, growing business. They will have sound organisational skills, and be capable of managing their time between daily admin tasks and bigger picture projects to develop the HR strategy and culture. This role will require a strong understanding of HR legislation and best practice, with the ability and confidence to help managers and team members effectively navigate HR matters. Our Client is offering a Salary of £55,000 -- £60,000
