Job description

Our Client Delighted to partnering with an established multi-site business seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the delivery of a professional, proactive and compliant HR service. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a broad generalist role offering the opportunity to influence people practices, support operational leaders and drive a positive employee experience across the organisation. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment law, recruitment, engagement and people development. What You'll Do As HR Manager, you will partner closely with senior leaders and managers to provide practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You will ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, lead on complex employee relations matters and support the ongoing development of people management capability throughout the business. The role includes some travel between sites to maintain a consistent and effective people approach. Key Responsibilities • Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees. • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence matters. • Coach and support managers in the effective application of policies, procedures and people management practices. • Ensure HR policies remain compliant with current employment legislation and best practice. • Monitor changes in employment law and implement required updates across the business. • Manage recruitment and onboarding activity to deliver a positive candidate experience. • Support workforce planning and talent attraction initiatives. • Coordinate learning and development activities and support management development programmes. • Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. • Maintain accurate HR systems, records and reporting in line with GDPR requirements. • Liaise with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accurate administration. • Produce HR metrics and management information to support business decision-making. • Lead and develop the HR Business Partner while fostering a collaborative HR service across all locations.
