Job description

The Opportunity We're recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to join a leading food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting one of the organisation's largest and busiest production sites, you'll be the primary HR lead on site, partnering closely with the leadership team to drive performance, build management capability and deliver a proactive people agenda. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from labour planning and employee relations through to engagement, culture and organisational change. Reporting into the Head of HR, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a complex manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Partner with site leaders to deliver people plans aligned to business objectives. • Lead complex employee relations cases and coach managers on people matters. • Support workforce planning, organisational change and operational challenges. • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives. • Develop leadership capability through coaching and development. • Use people data and insight to improve performance and decision-making. • Lead and support continuous improvement and HR projects. • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor. • Essential background within manufacturing, food production, engineering or another operational environment. • Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge. • Experience supporting large operational workforces. • Confident influencing and coaching senior stakeholders. • Commercial, proactive and solutions-focused approach. • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience. Summary This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturing business in a key HR leadership role. Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, you'll lead the people agenda for one of the organisation's largest and most operationally complex sites, influencing everything from employee relations and labour planning through to engagement, leadership development and organisational change. Reporting to the Head of HR and supported by an onsite HR Administrator, you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact while being part of a wider HR function. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering with leaders to drive business performance through people, this role offers both challenge and opportunity in equal measure.
