Inclusion Support Worker Full-time | Fixed-term (September – March) | 36.5 hours per week Pay per Hour: £14.25- £16 Reed Further Education are seeking an Inclusion Support Worker to support learners facing barriers to education. This is a rewarding opportunity focused on improving attendance, engagement, and overall learner success through early intervention and tailored support. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to learners with emotional, social, or wellbeing needs Manage a caseload and create individual support & attendance plans Support learners with SEND, mental health needs, and additional challenges Work closely with families and carers, including home visits where appropriate Monitor attendance and engagement data to identify concerns early Support reintegration of learners returning from absence Collaborate with curriculum, safeguarding, and support teams Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding Requirements Level 3 qualification (e.g. Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Education, Counselling) Experience supporting young people aged 16–18 Ability to build strong, trusting relationships Experience delivering 1:1 support Understanding of attendance, safeguarding, and wellbeing Knowledge of trauma-informed practice (or willingness to learn) Strong organisational and communication skills Why Apply?
