Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the hospital, which can be arranged by contacting: Peter Loughenbury - Vishal Borse INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD: 5th August 2026 Why you should join our Team The Leeds Spinal Unit is looking to appoint a Spinal Fellow to the join our long established fellowship programme. These posts will be based at the Leeds General Infirmary (LGI). Start dates between February 2027. Successful candidates are to be appointed for a fixed term of 1 year and is suitable for a committed senior spinal surgical trainee who may wish to obtain extra experience in spinal surgery and has an interest in clinical research. The successful candidate will join a department of 12 Specialist Spinal Consultants, 3-4 specialty trainees, and a Clinical Nurse Specialist.   What you will bring to the role The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the departments research and clinical trials programme. A tailored training programme will be negotiated around previous experience, and professional development plans. Candidate will be expected to take part in the Spinal on-call rota and this should not interfere with the day to day commitments of the fellowship post Please see the attached job description for further information about this vacancy.
