Job Title: Junior Paraplanner Industry: Financial Planner Location: Leeds Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Job Reference: An established Financial Planning firm in Leeds is looking to hire a Junior Paraplanner to support its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Senior IFA Admin experience or to start their journey as a Trainee Paraplanner/Junior Paraplanner and already has an understanding of report writing. If you are wanting to expand on you financial planning experience and are looking to progress into paraplanning or continue developing your technical knowledge within a supportive environment then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. The business offers exposure to a broad range of providers and products, a clear progression pathway and long-term career stability starting from Junior Paraplanner. The Role • Assisting with the preparation of suitability reports and recommendations • Researching pensions, investments and protection solutions • Obtaining provider information and illustrations • Supporting Advisers and Paraplanners with client reviews • Preparing meeting documentation and review packs • Assisting with cashflow modelling and technical research • Maintaining accurate client records and back-office systems What They’re Looking For • Experience within a Financial Planning Administrator or Junior Paraplanner role • Ideally 18 months+ experience within wealth management • Progress towards CII exams advantageous • Good understanding of an IFA role • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Desire to develop into a fully-fledged Paraplanner Package • Study support available • Private medical cover • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Birthday off • Wellness days Working Pattern • Office-based initially to support training and development • Typically around 6 months in the office before flexibility is introduced
