Landscape Operative

Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas for a dedicated Landscape Operative to join the Facilities Team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver high standards across school environments. Location: Nottingham NG17 3DH Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent) Key Responsibilities • Maintaining school outdoor areas to a high standard • Grass cutting and general grounds upkeep • Operating equipment such as strimmers and other powered tools • Marking out football pitches and running track lines • Ensuring all areas are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times Requirements • A DBS check may be applicable for this role • Previous grounds maintenance/Landscape Operative or similar experience desirable • Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Are you passionate about teamwork, and delivering exceptional service?
