• To have responsibility for and lead the delivery of emergency general surgery • To maintain a sub-specialty elective practice • To maintain the highest clinical standards in general surgery. • To work well with colleagues, junior staff and all health professionals • Teaching and training of junior staff. • Teaching of undergraduate • To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit • To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
