Job description

A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their busy operations team. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating UK and international shipments, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Working closely with multiple departments, you will manage transport arrangements, prepare export documentation and provide outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with shipping and customs regulations. As a Logistics Administrator, your duties will include: • Coordinate the dispatch of UK and international customer orders, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in line with agreed lead times • Arrange cost-effective transport solutions and manage relationships with freight providers, customers, suppliers and internal teams • Prepare and process all transport and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and shipping legislation • Manage customer enquiries and provide administrative support to the sales team, delivering a high standard of customer service • Coordinate warehouse pick and pack priorities to ensure efficient order fulfilment and dispatch • Produce and analyse weekly and monthly KPI reports to support operational performance and continuous improvement To be successful in the role of Logistics Administrator, you will have: • Previous experience within a logistics, transport, shipping or supply chain coordination role • Strong customer service and administrative experience • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with customers, suppliers, freight providers and internal teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with ERP system experience desirable; previous Sage experience would be advantageous What's on offer: • Salary ranging £28,000 - £32,000 • Monday to Friday • 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays • Early Finish on Friday's • Growing business with excellent long-term career prospects If you're interested in the Logistics Administrator position and want to further your career within a logistics environment, apply now.
