Microsoft Modern Work & AI Consultant Location: Sidcup (Hybrid - typically 2 days per week) Salary: £65,000-£85,000 + Benefits Our client is looking for a Microsoft Modern Work & AI Consultant to join their growing technical team. This is a senior, customer-facing consultancy role where you'll help organisations maximise Microsoft technologies through modern workplace, AI, and automation solutions. Working closely with customers, you'll lead projects from discovery through to delivery, acting as a trusted technical advisor while helping shape the client's Microsoft and AI offerings. You'll also mentor junior consultants, contribute to presales activities, and support the continued development of technical standards and services. Key responsibilities • Deliver Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI-focused consultancy projects. • Design and implement solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure technologies. • Lead customer workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Produce technical documentation, solution designs and implementation plans. • Support AI adoption, governance and security best practices. • Contribute to proposals, Statements of Work and presales engagements. • Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement across the technical function. Key skills • Strong Microsoft 365 expertise, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune and Entra ID. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) and AI solutions. • Customer-facing consultancy experience with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA and Cyber Essentials. • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and documentation skills. • Experience delivering technical projects from design through to implementation. Package • £65,000-£85,000 base salary • Paid overtime or time off in lieu • Contributory pension • 25 days annual leave • Hybrid working
