The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting Nursery and Reception pupils during lunchtime, while also supervising children across the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds. Job Description • Supporting Nursery and Reception pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play sessions • Supervising children during lunchtime in the dining hall and playground • Encouraging positive behaviour, good manners, and social interaction • Supporting children with their wellbeing, emotional development, and personal needs where appropriate • Assisting younger pupils with lunchtime routines, transitions, and play activities • Promoting safe, engaging, and age-appropriate play for EYFS children • Supervising and supporting pupils across the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds during break and lunchtime periods • Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive environment • Working closely with teaching, EYFS, and pastoral staff Additional Opportunities Alongside the Midday Meal Supervisor role, there may also be other opportunities for staff who demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and strong relationships with pupils may occasionally be offered: • Morning breakfast club shifts • Full-day Teaching Assistant support roles • Additional classroom-based responsibilities where suitable • Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, London • Position: Midday Meal Supervisor / EYFS Lunchtime Support Assistant • Working Hours: 11:30am – 13:30pm (Monday to Friday) • School Type: Mainstream Primary School • Start Date: September 2026 • Contract: Term-Time Only (Long-Term) Trial Days: Selected candidates will be invited to attend paid trial day(s) during July 2026 as part of the recruitment process.
