MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator – Skelmersdale People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale on a permanent basis. This role would suit candidates with experience as a MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Sheet Metal Fabricator, or Skilled Fabricator. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 39 hours per week • Flexible working hours between 08:00 – 16:30 Rates of Pay • £19.10 per hour Benefits As a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rate of pay • Permanent, full-time opportunity • Weekly pay • Free on-site parking • Ongoing work • Friendly and supportive working environment • Sociable Monday to Friday working hours Day-to-Day Duties As a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator, your duties will include: • Operating MIG and TIG welding equipment to a high standard • Switching between welding processes depending on material thickness and joint specifications • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical blueprints • Marking out, cutting, and assembling fabricated components • Fettling, grinding, and polishing welded parts to achieve the required finish • Inspecting completed welds and checking dimensional accuracy using measuring equipment including calipers, squares, and tape measures • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and health and safety Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • Relevant MIG and TIG welding qualifications • Previous experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques • Proven metal fabrication experience • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards • The ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment • Experience working with a variety of metals and fabrication techniques Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment Apply If you are interested in this opportunity as a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator, click apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
