Mobile Crane Operator (CPCS / NPORS) Towercraft UK Ltd – London (Field-based, UK-wide) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP About the Role Towercraft UK Ltd is looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator (Bocker AK37 or relevant) to support our robotic façade cleaning and exterior maintenance operations across the UK. You will be responsible for the safe setup, operation, and dismantling of mobile cranes on live sites, working closely with our operations team and appointed persons. Key Responsibilities • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently on site • Carry out daily pre-use checks and routine crane inspections • Set up cranes including outriggers, ground assessment, and exclusion zones • Follow lift plans, RAMS, and method statements • Communicate clearly with banksman / slinger-signaller • Ensure compliance with LOLER, PUWER and HSE requirements • Maintain lifting records and site documentation • Liaise with site management and FM teams • Report defects, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately Requirements • Valid CPCS A60 or NPORS N101 (with CSCS) Mobile Crane Operator card • Proven experience operating mobile cranes • Strong understanding of lift plans and load charts • Excellent safety awareness • Full UK driving licence (CAT C) Desirable (Not Essential) • Mobile Crane experience (Bocker AK37 or relevant) • Slinger/Signaller or Banksman certification • Appointed Person certification • Experience on façade, glazing, BMU, or external maintenance projects • IPAF / PASMA / working at height awareness What We Offer • Competitive pay + overtime • Long-term, stable employment • Training and upskilling opportunities • Work with innovative robotic façade technology • Supportive and professional team environment
