Nutritional Assistant

Work alongside wider nursing team to assist with supporting patients in nutritional intake, documentation and education of healthier eating. Develop patient centred nutritional care plan following nutritional risk assessment alongside registered nurse. Advise patients on food choices suitable to dietary needs. Establish food, fluid and supplement intake monitoring and recording. Contribute to education of patients with heart disease/ diabetes.
