Job description

Reed Business Support are recruiting for an Operations & Procurement Coordinator on behalf of our valued client, a growing and dynamic business based in Kent. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with strong operations experience who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As the appointed Operations & Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring orders, suppliers and logistics are managed efficiently while delivering excellent service to both internal teams and customers. About the Role: • Managing the end-to-end processing of customer orders from placement to delivery • Coordinating procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers • Monitoring stock levels, lead times and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply • Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers, warehouse partners, couriers and customers • Resolving order or delivery issues promptly to minimise disruption • Maintaining accurate records across CRM and order management systems • Supporting logistics coordination, including dispatch and fulfilment activities • Providing high-quality customer service via phone and email About You: • Proven experience within an operations-focused role (essential) • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or order management • Strong understanding of coordinating suppliers, deliveries and stock • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships • Experience using Microsoft 365, along with CRM or order management systems • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution or industrial environment (desirable) Benefits: • Competitive salary reflecting your experience • Company pension scheme • Cashback health scheme • Free on-site parking • Opportunity to join a growing business with scope to develop your career • Supportive team environment with exposure to end-to-end operations If you are an experienced operations professional looking for your next challenge, please apply today.
