About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of IT, Facilities & Fleet Management to lead the organisation's IT services, facilities operations, fleet management, and supplier contracts. This varied role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational management, ensuring services remain secure, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Cyber Security
• Manage the organisation's Managed Service Provider (MSP), including service reviews, SLA monitoring, and escalations.
• Oversee Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
• Maintain IT assets, user access controls, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity arrangements.
• Ensure effective cyber security, patch management, mobile device management, and website security.
• Lead IT projects and support digital transformation initiatives.
Facilities Management
• Oversee the effective operation of offices and properties.
• Manage property contracts, lease renewals, office moves, insurance, security, and health & safety compliance.
• Maintain professional office standards and a safe working environment.
Fleet Management
• Manage the company vehicle fleet, including procurement, returns, fuel contracts, insurance claims, GPS tracking, and P11D processes.
• Ensure fleet policy compliance and manage the Fleet Administrator.
• Research and recommend suitable vehicle and fleet solutions.
Contracts, Budgets & Projects
• Manage supplier relationships, contract renewals, and the contract register.
• Negotiate contracts and authorise invoices.
• Support budget preparation and management.
• Provide project management support for key organisational initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and drive operational best practice across all locations.
About You
You will have:
• Experience managing MSPs and outsourced IT services.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cyber security, business continuity, and cloud technologies.
• Experience in facilities, property, fleet, contract, and supplier management.
• Budget management and project delivery experience.
• Previous people management experience.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
