Role Overview The Operations Manager oversees the full day-to-day operations of the dealership, ensuring all departments run efficiently, profitably, and in line with company standards. This role plays a key part in driving performance, improving processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily operations across sales, service, parts, and administration while ensuring smooth coordination between departments • Monitor stock levels, vehicle sourcing, and inventory turnover to maintain optimal availability • Support the sales team in achieving targets and improving conversion rates and profitability • Manage budgets, control costs, and track financial performance including margins and expenses • Ensure high standards of customer service and a professional customer experience • Lead, motivate, and develop staff, including setting targets and conducting performance reviews • Support recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing staff training • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, and company policies • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity and profitability Requirements • Experience in operations • Strong leadership and team management skills • Good financial and commercial awareness • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities • Sales revenue and gross profit • Customer satisfaction • Cost control and operational efficiency • Staff productivity and retention
