Job description
Order Processing Administrator | Gateshead | Office Based | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start
A great team, a great opportunity, and a workplace you'll enjoy being part of!
Are you an organised administrator who enjoys working with systems, processing information accurately and being part of a team where work is taken seriously - but having fun is part of the culture too? We're recruiting for an Order Processing Administrator to join a fantastic Fleet Division within a successful and growing business based in Gateshead.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail behind the process - managing information, keeping records accurate, working across multiple systems and portals, and making sure orders move smoothly from start to finish. You'll become an important part of a friendly team who genuinely enjoy what they do, supporting the wider operation and ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
Why you'll love working here
This isn't just another office job. You'll be joining a welcoming, energetic team where people are valued, supported and encouraged to develop.
You'll enjoy:
A friendly and supportive team environment
Regular team socials and nights out
Birthday celebrations and prizes
Office treats, goodies and a well-stocked tuck shop
Amazing on-site facilities
Free on-site parking
Convenient Team Valley location with great local amenities nearby
Full training and ongoing support
A positive workplace where people enjoy coming to work
If you're looking for a role where you'll feel part of a team rather than just another employee, this could be the perfect fit.
What's in it for you?
• Starting salary of £25,350, rising to £26,810 (inclusive of bonus) if you secure a permanent position
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Immediate start (please only apply if you're available immediately or have a short notice period)
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (37.5 hours per week), office based
• Free on-site parking
• Full training provided
• Long-term career development opportunities
About the Role
As an Order Processing Administrator, you'll play a key role within the Fleet Division, ensuring orders are processed accurately, information is maintained correctly and internal processes run smoothly. Working behind the scenes with internal teams, suppliers and account functions, you'll manage order information across multiple systems and portals, ensuring every detail is correct and all documentation is completed to a high standard.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys administration, organisation and working with data. You'll be busy, you'll be involved, and you'll play an important role in keeping everything moving.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Processing sales orders accurately using internal systems and external portals
• Inputting and maintaining order information and records
• Checking specifications, pricing and data accuracy
• Managing information across multiple platforms and systems
• Reviewing documentation and ensuring all details are complete
• Uploading and maintaining relevant paperwork
• Monitoring order progress and updating internal records
• Supporting internal teams with accurate information
• Identifying and resolving any data discrepancies or issues
• Ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met
• Providing general administrative support across the Fleet Division
About You
We're looking for someone who brings the right attitude as much as the right experience.
You'll be someone who:
Enjoys working with systems, processes and information
Is organised and loves keeping things running smoothly
Takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail
Can manage multiple tasks and priorities
Has a proactive, can-do approach
Enjoys being part of a busy and supportive team
You'll ideally have experience within administration, order processing, data entry, sales support or a similar office-based role. Experience working with multiple systems, portals, databases or processing high volumes of information would be advantageous.
Why This Role?
This is a chance to join a company where you'll be more than just a number. You'll become part of a close-knit team that celebrates success, supports each other and creates a genuinely enjoyable working environment. If you're looking for a role where you can build your skills, develop your career and work alongside great people, we'd love to hear from you.
