We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Painter & Decorator to join us in the Essex Region with great customer service skills to join our hard working and friendly Maintenance team to complete some ongoing renovation projects within our Care Home group in our Essex Region covering 11 homes. Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect: • Salary: £31,820 • 45 hours a week • 8am – 5pm from Monday – Friday • Location: Essex Region About the role: This position requires knowledge and skill as a Painter & Decorator (minimum 2 years). You will need good attention to detail with a positive can do attitude and take pride in your work. This is a customer facing role as such as you will be working within our residents’ homes, painting and decorating rooms, paintwork, corridors, lounges, etc. What we are looking for from you: • Your own basic tools, however, all materials will be provided. • A full driving licence for use in the UK is essential as well as your own vehicle as you will need to travel between our Care Homes. Mileage will be paid via expenses. • Basic computer knowledge • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Completion of an enhanced DBS (Criminal Records Check) as you would be working in the home of vulnerable adults.
