The team you will join Our SIPPs Team sits within the wider Real Estate Division and have established practical working relationships which ensures that they provide an efficient and cost-effective service. The team specialise within all elements of property investment; including commercial property transactions, acquisitions, disposals, transfers in specie, part-ownership, loans, leases, and mortgages. The work you will be doing • To provide support to the fee earners in the team and assist in the work of the department • Undertake fee earning work under supervision • Dealing with post exchange and completion matters • Producing first drafts of contracts, transfer deeds and leases (with fee earner guidance) • File creation and client care correspondence • Updating and reporting to clients and intermediaries on transactional progress • Companies House and Land Registry applications and requisitions • Submitting searches and reviewing search results and the preparation of reports on title • Dealing with deed schedules and documents for clients • Preparing completion statements and invoices • Arranging transfer of funds for completions and file closures • Producing replies to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries • Dealing with pre-completion requisitions • File closing and managing deed storage Skills, Attributes and Key Competencies • Provide an efficient and friendly service to clients Please note that this job profile is not an exhaustive list of duties but merely an outline of the key components of the role. What we are looking for • Law degree or equivalent experience • Demonstrable interest in and/or knowledge of relevant law and legal procedure • Ability to undertake legal work requiring technical and procedural understanding • Competence in accurately recording time and understanding chargeable work • Strong legal research and investigative skills • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Ability to analyse information and present findings clearly and precisely • Strong attention to detail to produce work documentation which is consistently of a high standard • Professional integrity and a commitment to providing excellent client service • To be competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, time recording software, case management, Outlook and digital dictation Hybrid Working Due to the nature of work required, this role is fully office based.
