Part-Time Receptionist (Afternoon Cover) – Fixed Term Contract £14/£15ph Location: Gravesend Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 6:00pm (25 hours per week) Contract: Fixed-Term (12 Months) with the potential to become permanent We are recruiting for an exciting new role on the water front in Gravesend, Kent! Our client is looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Receptionist to join their Facilities team on a part-time basis, providing afternoon reception cover. As the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and employees, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent front-of-house service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of reception and facilities. Key Responsibilities • Deliver a professional and welcoming reception service to all visitors and staff. • Manage incoming calls, emails, post and deliveries. • Coordinate visitor access, security passes and parking permits. • Support meeting room and pool car bookings. • Complete daily reception administration and maintain accurate records. • Liaise with Facilities, Security and internal departments to ensure the efficient running of the building. • Assist with general facilities administration, health and safety procedures and emergency protocols where required. • Provide additional administrative support to the Facilities team as needed. About You The successful candidate will have: • Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house or customer service role. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. • A proactive, professional and approachable manner. • The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Experience within a corporate or facilities environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
