Payroll Assistant 3-6 Month Temporary Assignment | Loughborough | Hybrid Working | £25,000-£30,000 DOE Looking to build on your payroll experience whilst working alongside an experienced Payroll Manager in a growing business? This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation during an exciting period of growth. Working as part of a friendly and supportive finance team, you'll become the Payroll Manager's right-hand person, providing key support across the weekly and monthly payroll function. Having joined the business just a few months ago, the Payroll Manager is already driving improvements across payroll processes and is now looking for someone to help support the increasing workload whilst continuing to develop the function. If you're someone who enjoys payroll, picks up new systems quickly and likes being part of a collaborative team, this could be a fantastic opportunity. The RoleYou'll support the Payroll Manager with the processing of payroll for approximately 750 employees across multiple sites, helping to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Duties will include: • Supporting weekly and monthly payroll processing. • Processing timesheets and payroll amendments. • Uploading payroll information. • Assisting with payroll checks and reconciliations. • Supporting pension administration. • Resolving payroll queries from employees and managers. • Maintaining accurate payroll records. • Assisting with payroll reporting. • Supporting payroll improvements and process development. About YouYou'll ideally have: • Previous payroll administration experience. • Good understanding of payroll processes. • Strong attention to detail. • Good Microsoft Excel skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. • Confidence working in a busy payroll environment. Previous experience of Staffology would be advantageous but is not essential.
