Payroll & Pensions OfficerLocation: Grimsby Contract: Temporary until the end of August Rate: Competitive Sector: Charity / Not-for-Profit Venn Group is recruiting for a Payroll & Pensions Officer on behalf of an organisation based in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a busy payroll team and provide support during a key period. The RoleReporting to the Payroll Manager, you will provide confidential payroll and pensions support, assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting the monthly payroll process, including payroll data input and processing. • Calculating and inputting sickness absence data. • Processing timesheets and expense claims. • Supporting RTI processes and payroll compliance requirements. • Assisting with Tax, National Insurance and HMRC-related activities. • Providing pensions administration support, including enrolment and opt-in/opt-out processes. • Producing payroll reports and management information. • Supporting year-end payroll activities and maintaining accurate employee records. • Liaising with HMRC and other external stakeholders where required. About YouThe successful candidate will have: • Previous payroll administration experience. • Knowledge of payroll legislation, Tax and National Insurance processes. • Experience administering workplace pensions. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organisational and administrative skills. • The ability to manage confidential information professionally. • Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications.
