Job description

Payroller - Stevenage (SAGE PAYROLL ESSENTIAL) Part Time or Full time - flexible on hours 5-6 week temporary basis We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Payroller to help this SME during the implementation of a new payroll software. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll of around 300 on weekly basis, processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in payroll systems and human resources management within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Administer the end-to-end payroll process using Sage Payroll. • Ensure accurate data entry related to employee hours, deductions, benefits, and other payroll components. • Process employee payments accurately and on schedule, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and statutory contributions. • Manage accounts payable related to payroll expenses and reconcile payroll accounts regularly. • Maintain comprehensive records of payroll transactions in compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements. • Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly. • Collaborate with human resources to update employee information related to new hires, terminations, or changes in employment status. • Assist with audits and prepare reports related to payroll activities for management review. • Stay informed about relevant legislation affecting payroll processing and ensure organisational compliance. # This position offers an engaging environment where your expertise will directly contribute to organisational success through precise payroll management and compliance adherenc
