Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school, located in the Walsall area, the school are looking for a qualified Female Physical Education teacher. The role will be full time and will start in September 2026, this will be for a minimum of 6 weeks, but has the high potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The school have specified they require a female teacher due to supervision required within the changing rooms.
The school is based in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and hard-working environment, and they will also have access to good indoor and outdoor facilities, to allow for creative and fun lessons.
The successful applicant will have:
• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
• A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
• A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
• The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities
Rates of pay will vary dependent at on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
